thanks to lightchaser's post reminding me of the blog action day, I must indulge. don't you think religions in general, but church's in particular so as to remain a bit less politically outspoken, should openly profess to save the earth?  as it is written?  why the hell (sorry) is that?  why don't church's openly support and actually preach environmentalism?  I know you can't hear me (that will be blogs in the near future, I'm sure), but really I'm yelling that!

I think maybe I'll send a letter to all the church's in this city and ask them why I've never heard of any of them put on a celebration to save the planet...on the other hand, I must confess...I won't.  but I should!  It really wouldn't take very long.

who knows...maybe a save the planet church, praising God...and Mary and/or Jesus, too!  We don't care!  We want to save the planet!  come to our service!  donate money to keep the church alive and save the planet at the same time!  p.s., we'll talk about saving your souls, too!  especially if you go to A&W for lunch!
