I'm not quite sure why, but I have been putting off writing a post about Yangshuo.  I think it's because it was such a meaningful week to me that there's no way of expressing it.  ya know when words just don't do and they never will?  If I have ever had a time in my life when this has happened, it was the entire week I spent in Yangshuo.

It's been a while since I've posted a photo.  These were from my recent trip to Vale, CO for a few days of skiing.  I planned on two solid days on the mountain.  But, due to the weather in Denver, I just HAD to stay for one more day of skiing and hanging out with my college buddy, Ben.  The great host that he is, I was lucky enough to be set up with free passes for all three days of skiing, two at Vale, the first and third day, and one at Beaver Creek on the second day.  I skied solo all three days which turned out to be such a refreshing deal.  It's the first time I have ever skied solo for more than one day.  Three days in succession was just...great.  This was an awesome trip and a much needed break from the action after an extremely tough semester...I hope I never again experience how busy I was over those four months for the rest of my life.
