Who is the very first friend you ever had? Are you still in touch?
my very first friend was my buddy keith...and we are still the best of buddies to this day. it all started in sunday school at 4 years old. I'm sure there were other kids sooner, but he really is the first buddy I remember. Now, we have both moved into the city but have different things goin' on...we only hang out once every couple weeks even though we live no more than a mile from each other. But, I don't hang out with anyone more than once every couple weeks. funny how that happens with age...

the first is the day before our first experience with alpine mountaineering. We went straight up the snowband or couloir heading straight up the mountain just to the left of the summit ...a beautiful climb and a phenomenal view of the mighty san juans from the top. The second photo was shot during the climb. The third was shot from the summit.
