Personally, I don't have faith in any of the channels or the newspapers from America, or the UK as a matter of fact.
I tend to draw a picture of the real situation to a news story by reading the NY Times (though it is highly partisan but with some good info), The Guardian (probably the most liberal from the mainstream), and an amalgam of independent news outlets like Democracy Now.
right, democracy now...very good...and maybe the economist? yeah, I also like the times and the post. the point is the decline of integrity in the u.s. reporting bleeds into good sources as well...possibly the rest of the world's.
i like bbc because it's pretty succinct, cut the fat out, you know? after years of reading the nytimes, when i started reading bbc, and i'd finish and get the gist down, i'd wonder...that's it? oh, and the AP is okay too.
