we all know the media needs to make money, too...
but at what point will all credibility in the u.s. media be completely lost? I don't think it will ever happen, but there certainly is less faith in the u.s. media than other more distinguished media outlets around the world when there really should be a higher standard for news in this country, the country we're all so proud of...
I lose more and more faith in the foundation of this country every time I watch the news...
that's why I don't watch it anymore.

I'm also really confused as to how CNN International has ended up having more integrity than CNN U.S...gee, think it's the mediocrity of the general public in the u.s.?

I tend to draw a picture of the real situation to a news story by reading the NY Times (though it is highly partisan but with some good info), The Guardian (probably the most liberal from the mainstream), and an amalgam of independent news outlets like Democracy Now.
