[this is good]

Hi Patrick...thanks for sharing that about Michelle Obama...I'm living here in Indiana and have been so busy all weekend that I forgot she was speaking here. I 'll have to look the speech up on Youtube. The Obamas just seem so authentic. I feel that I could look at them as our first family and actually be proud. Might sound corny....but I haven't done that for a long time.

Peace to you.

I have also been really impressed with Michelle Obama. I think she would be an amazing First lady. Wish I could hear her speak. It is a double edged sword being so far away: I don't have to hear all of the constant, and often mindless, political talk, but then I miss a lot of good stuff too. Too bad more of the good stuff does not get aired on primetime.
I think it's pretty interesting how internet options like Youtube carry the same double edged sword...you can see the incriminating sound/video bites enough to evolve lies into truths or you can see the real issues that don't get primetime air time because of the fact that they just don't make any money for the f'n networks. pretty much the benefits and shortfalls of capitalism in a nutshell. check her out on Youtube, though. it's great. I totally agree. she is fired up to be the first lady...and one with a fresh start with little if any political capital to payback. how refreshing to think of such a low bar of ulterior motive.
